Description: | A popular tourist destination in the Costa Blanca, Torrevieja is a busy resort still being developed. It is situated within 2 large natural salt lakes called ‘Salterns of Torrevieja’. Sights to see include the large Moorish tower (Torre del Moro) and Church of the Immaculate Conception. There are also many beaches and amenities. It can be lively, noisy and crowded, particularly in Summer. Also there is a rising crime rate involving burglary and theft. However the area has the cheapest property on the Costa Blanca and as the town is constantly developing and property prices are expected to rise. Yields are not that brilliant but the prospect for capital growth compensates for this. If you’re looking for a holiday home that will pay for itself for 5 years and then sell on to make a profit then this area will meet this goal.
